Paoli Dam, who me her return to Hindi cinema after five years with Anvita Dutt's Bulbbul, in a recent media interview with an online portal, talked about her role Bidini from supernatural thriller. Bidini, sister-in-law to central character Bulbbul, is torchbearer of patriarchy in family. She is docile, timid and acts according to rms set forth by society. Talking more about Bidini, Paolii Dam said that she is empatic and has many emotions and desires cd up. Paoli Dam, who is popular among moviegoers for her strong-heed characters, revealed in interview that it was a new experience to portray a character, who is victimised. Bidini's Rabindranath Tagore connection
Paoli Dam, who was signed two days before shoot, was excited to play a character whose name resemblances to one of her most favourite characters from Rabindranath Tagore's vel Chokher Bali, revealed Bulbbul actor in interview. She ded that more than resemblance in name, her love for Bengali folklore persued her to sign movie in such short tice. Paoli Dam lastly exclaimed that she was in love with script of Bulbbul, which forced her to be a part of thriller.
