Paul McCartney opens up about The Beatles' split and relationship with John Lennon

The Beatles broke up official in 1975 and broke the hearts of many fans. Paul McCartney recently opened up about this split of 'The Beatles' and John Lennon.

Paul McCartney on Beatles and John Lenn 

In his interview with Howard Stern, back in 2018, Paul McCartney was asked about who broke up Beatles. Stern said, “who kws who broke up… everyone has a ory.” McCartney said that it was John Lenn who broke up band. Stern was surprised at this and asked McCartney that he broke it up and tried “to pin it on” McCartney, to which he said that John did t pin it on him, it just came out that way.

He furr said that re was a meeting where Lenn came and said that he was leaving group. McCartney furr talked about John Lenn and Yoko’s relationship. It was rumoured that it was Yoko, who caused Beatles to break up. But John Lenn had discarded this back in September 1971.

McCartney stated that John loved strong women, his mor and aunty were strong women and Yoko was a strong woman. He said that band used to think that she was a bit intrusive, as she used to sit with band during ir recording session. But w, looking back at that, John Lenn was really in love with Yoko, and band respected that.

McCartney furr stated that y had weaponised ir songs, which were written for each or. In fact, Too Many People by McCartney, was written for John Lenn. He furr said that this trend did t last long and y got over it.

Talking about Yoko, Lenn had said that she should get credits for a lot of Beatles songs, instead of calling her lady who broke ir band. He furr stated that a girl cant break Beatles. He stated that band was drifting apart on ir own.
