Actor Prabhas faces major setback in his land dispute with the Telangana government
'Baahubali' starrer and Telugu superstar Prabhas recently faced a major setback in his land dispute case against the Telangana government.

Telugu actor Prabhas, most kwn for playing le role in Baahubali, is currently having a land dispute with Telangana government. Telugu superstar recently faced a setback in his dispute, when Telangana High Court determined that interim orders passed by a lower court were faulty. se orders were what gave Prabhas temporary possession of property, which Telangana government claims is irs.

According to a report by a leing daily newspaper, land in question is located in Survey . 5/3, Raidurg Pan Maktha of Serlingampally, Ranga Reddy district. land is about 2,083 square yards wide, and Prabhas claims that he bought land a year ago. Prabhas even registered sale deed and claimed that government h also accepted his application for ownership. However, land was seized by government officials claiming that it was owned by Telangana government.

Prabhas n approached Telangana High Court in 2018 to challenge seizure. While High Court commanded government to t destroy property, it also denied Prabhas possession of land. ownership of this land is w being disputed in a trial court.
Initially, trial court at Kukatpally granted an interim injunction in favour of Telugu superstar. This was back in April of 2020. However, due to COVID-19 lockdown, all interim orders were extended to June of 2020. revenue authorities were displeased by this order and filed a petition to dismiss it. When ir petition was denied by trial court, Telangana government once again approached State High Court.

report states that this is when Prabhas faced a major setback to his land dispute case. While investigating interim orders, division bench comprising of chief justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and justice P. Naveen Rao realised that Prabhas should t have possession of property. y also deemed interim order to be a mistake. However, High Court once again orders authorities t to demolish property. y also commanded trial court to deal with case as soon as possible based on merits.
