Previous reports had suggested that Salaar had concluded filming in April with September 28 as its release date. Hombale Films, the production house bankrolling the Prashanth Neel directorial, had officially announced that the release date had been pushed due to delays in post-production. The ongoing shoot is reportedly for a "newly introduced scene" in the climax, as per Manobala's X post.
Prabhas has several big banner releases lined up
Prabhas last starred in Om Raut's mythological magnum opus Adipurush which was a modernised take on the epic of Ramayana. While the high-octane action film Salaar was supposed to be his next release of the year, the film currently stands indefinitely delayed.

Next in line is Nag Ashwin's futuristic film with mythological elements, Kalki 2898 AD, scheduled to release on January 12, next year. More so, if rumours are to be believed, Prabhas may just star as Lord Shiva opposite Nayanthara's Parvati in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa.
