Queen is a British rock band from London. Winners of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Queen is one of the most iconic and commercially successful bands of all time. Their classic line up included the likes of Freddie Mercury (lead vocals and piano), Brian May (lead guitar and vocals), Roger Taylor (drums and vocals), and John Deacon (bass guitar).  Bohemian Rhapsody, a film on Queen’s progressive years and the period leading up to the Live Aid Concert 1985, was released in 2018. 1. Another One Bites the Dust

Another One Bites the Dust featured in Queen’s eighth studio album- The Game. Written by bass guitarist John Deacon, the song peaked at #1 for 3 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100. The song spent 15 weeks in the top 10, the most for a song in 1980. It is the Queen’s best-selling single, with over 7 million sales.

2. Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Crazy Little Thing Called Love was part of The Game- Queen’s eighth album. Having been written and composed by Freddie Mercury, the song at #2 in the UK Singles Chart and also #1in the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks. Mercury composed the song on guitar and played one while performing it live, making it the first time that he played guitar in a concert with Queen. The song was written as a tribute to Elvis Presley.

3. Bohemian Rhapsody

Queen released Bohemian Rhapsody as part of their fourth studio album, A Night at the Opera. The song is written by Freddie Mercury, the six-minute song includes an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part, and a reflective coda. Bohemian Rhapsody was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2004. It topped the UK singles charts for 9 weeks while peaking at #2 in the Billboard Hot 100.

4. We Are The Champions

We Are The Champions was released by Queen in their sixth studio album, News of the World. The song written by Freddie Mercury is one of the most recognizable rock anthems. The song peaked at #4 in the Billboard Hot 100, while reached #2 in the UK Singles Chart. The song was inducted in the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2009, while it was also the official song of the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

5. Killer Queen

Killer Queen was part of the Queen’s third album, Sheer Heart Attack in 1974. It peaked at #12 in the Billboard Hot 100, while it was #2 in the UK Singles Chart. The song was Queen’s first hit in the US. Freddie Mercury won his first Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors for writing the song.
