Raftaar opens up about nepotism: "Everyone must be given equal opportunity"

Raftaar recently h an in-depth conversation with a media outlet about favouritism and nepotism in industry. He talked about how people who were fresh in industry were intimated and also stated importance of giving equal chance to everyone despite ir backgrounds. Re ahe to kw more.

Raftaar started his interview by stating that only fans held true power. He mentioned how money and power were good tools to intimidate someone who was young in industry but true talent would always break free and come forward. On topic of nepotism, rapper mentioned that it was high time media stopped this debate about insiders and outsiders. He stated that what really needed to be looked at was importance of talent and  right to equal representation for everyone coming into industry despite ir background or line. On topic, he also mentioned that unlike West, India really battled with this problem a lot.

Continuing conversation, Raftaar mentioned what his biggest takeaway from this entire conversation was - he felt established artists must learn that y should help younger artists and also give back what y have learned from ir experiences. He furr ded that everyone enjoyed earning money but, especially at a point as such, an artist must remain humble and help or people climb up lder as y have.

Raftaar n talked about why everyone must stop judging artists by ir social media stature or at high points, like, when y win big awards, as only n can favouritism will crumble. He also mentioned that younger generation was savvy and recognised ir potential for success, thus entire conversation about favouritism and nepotism found a footing right w and wasn't brushed under carpet.

Change needs to happen at grass-root level 

Raftaar ded in interview that favouritism and nepotism needed to be cut from grass-root level for real change to take place. He also mentioned how topic just couldn't be a heline that ran for a month and n was forgotten. He concluded  interview by saying that at people needed to stop playing blame game and that y should come out in open and move on.
