Rajinikanth heads to Maldives for a short vacation as fans wait for Jailer trailer

Rajinikanth has been in Chennai for the filming of his part in Lal Salaam, helmed by his daughter Aishwarya. Now, after wrapping his part, the superstar has reportedly jetted off on a vacation. It has been reported that after his vacation, the actor will begin with the promotions of his upcoming highly-anticipated film Jailer.

Where is Rajinikanth holidaying?

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala, on Friday, took to his Twitter handle to share the pictures of Rajinikanth jetting off to the Maldives for a small vacation. In one of the images, he can be seen posing in front of the plane. In another, he is posing with the air hostesses. Sharing the photos, Bala tweeted that the superstar was snapped before boarding the plane to Maldives.

Rajinikanth is juggling between projects

On July 12, Aishwarya Rajinikanth shared a photo on her Instagram handle. In the image, she was seen with her father Rajinikanth and the cast and crew of Lal Salaam. In the caption, she wrote that the team had wrapped up the parts featuring Moideen Bhai. "Making a movie with you is a miracle and you are pure magic appa.. #lalsalaam moideen bhai #anditsawrap for THE SUPERSTAR," read the caption. In the film, Rajinikanth will be making a cameo appearance as Moideen Bhai.

On the other hand, Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of Jailer, co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Earlier this month, the makers unveiled the first song Kaavaalaa, which made it to the trending list soon after the release. Now, the audience is looking forward to the release of trailer, which makers are expected to release later this month.
