Anuja Sa was seen as Ashraf in TV series Ek Thi Begum. Ashraf was ar strong character who took prominence in gangster drama. She was seen as wife of a gangster who manipulates physically strong men and rules in revenge story.

Vaishnavi in MumBhai

MumBhai starring Ang Bedi depicts time when city was terrorised by a Don and a cop cleverly ruled by minds of women. Sandeepa Dhar portrayed role of Vaishnavi in series, wife of Bhaskar Shetty. Ang Bedi's character as Bhaskar Shetty takes action without a second thought but when Vaishnavi enters his life, narrative changes with character and her intelligence.
