Plot

A movie that follows basic 'college life' formula - drunken antics, love story, friendship and beating odds. Yes, comparison with Rajkummar Hirani's '3 Idiots' is inevitable but Nitish Tiwari's 'Chhichhore' is different in its own way and execution of film is both heartwarming and hilarious!

Anirudh and Maya's son Raghav, being a son of topper parents, considers himself a loser after he fails in engineering entrance exams. Stressed about society and how he would face his parents, Raghav attempts suicide. Anni and Maya in desperation to bring back ir critical son, call ir college friends and take Raghav down on a memory lane. What follows is a beautiful narrative that showcases emotions, friendship, love, care, humor and 'good old days'. 'Chhichhore' has a mess that is for both parents and kids. An important life lesson is shown in a beautiful way.

A must watch! A movie that highlights failure, a movie that tells you that re should be a plan even for defeat/n-success. An amalgamation of several emotions, this movie can't be missed. A tear and a laugh is for sure as you leave atre. 'Koshish, aur kar bhi kya sakte hain', a dialogue that breaks movie into intermission is soul of Nitish Tiwari directorial. A touching, feel-good drama that is worth a watch.

What works

Each actor has delivered a powerful performance. Sushant, Shraddha, and Varun being highlight from group. Dialogues were easy and relatable. music of film also blends smoothly and doesn't feel off at any point. Even though story was predictable, but Nitesh Tiwari did deliver a hugely entertaining and effective film.
