'De De Pyaar De' MOVIE REVIEW: The Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh starrer is a refreshing take on love

After entertaining fans with 'Total Dhamaal' earlier this year, Ajay Devgn finally released his second film of year- 'De De Pyaar De'. film which also stars Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in le is a romantic comedy written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Alim, who me his debut with project. Luv Ranjan has also produced venture alongside Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Ankur Garg under ir respective banners T-Series and Luv Films. So w that film's finally here let's see what's it all about.  

Setting scene 

film features Ajay Devgn as a 50-year-old rich separated far Ashish, who comes across a beautiful 26-year-old woman Ayesha, played by Rakul Preet. After days of casual flirting, pair discovers mselves in love with each or. However, massive gap between two makes m uncomfortable to think about family and future. 

Plot 

Despite remarkable -gap, pair chooses to stay toger, however, problems start arising when y decide to take ir relationship a step forward. Ashish finally plans to introduce Ayesha to his family, which includes his ex-wife Manju, played by Tabu, and children. But things go fiddly when Aisha comes to kw Ashish has children of around her , and plot sees a massive twist.

Verdict 

Makers have taken a very brave and bold step constructing a film on such a complex yet a practical issue. film which deals with Daedalian of sentiments breaks several stereos relating to relationships and emotion. While we often moralize our feelings and instruct ourselves on how we should feel about certain things, film celebrates how we do feel despite all versities. It explores what's on or side of  ice. film t only deals with equation of le character with his love-interest and ex-wife, who is still a very good friend but also with bonds he shares with his children and parents. 

'De De Pyaar De' is a complete pack of entertainment with witty dialogues and spectacular screenplay. While first half of film is all fun and romance, second part digs down deep into human-sentiments. It has a perfect balance of humor and emotions. While Ashish's plight will make you laugh, his feelings will make you stop and think. Unlike many Bollywood ventures, songs of film are placed in appropriate places and  actors, each one of m, did a brilliant job. 

Tabu's character in film deserves a special shout-out. Luv Ranjan has definitely done great job crafting character who grabs all attention with her maturity, emotions, break-downs, and re-building. She is strongest character in film.

What Works:  very concept of film is amazing, actors also did a good job.

What doesn't work: 'Singham' tune playing in background of  little action scene Ajay has. It's catchy but unnecessary.  Doesn't really go with Ajay's character in film.
