Good News: RLNI volunteer jumps into water to save life of drowning teenager

A lifeguard from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution was captured as he threw himself into the sea to save the life of a teenager who was drowning.

A lifeguard from Royal National Lifeboat Institution was captured as he threw himself into sea to save life of a teenr who was drowning. Uploed on official p of Facebook, video shows process of saving teenr who was being dragged out by massive tide. According to caption of video, incident took place at Portrush in rrn Ireland. 

'What a rescue'

1 minute and 10 seconds long video begins with shot of boat and teenr who is in water. lifeguards are seen throwing a rope towards him. As video progresses, we see one of lifeguards jump into sea to save life of teenr. lifeguard can be seen holding rope as a safety measure. Or lifeguards from boat can be seen holding or side of rope as y try to pull teenr and lifeguard. In end we can see that both of m were reeled in safely to boat.

In caption, RNLI has asked people to make as many donations to enable volunteers to buy equipment that y need. caption says, “By donating today, you’ll help to provide our selfless and brave volunteers with equipment, kit and training y need to perform astonishing rescues like this, carried out on Friday”. It ded, “With an exhausted teenr struggling to stay afloat in pounding swell, RNLI Portrush Coxswain/Mechanic Dave Robinson put his faith in his all-wear lifeboat kit and jumped in to save boy”.

Applauding lifeguard, netizens bombarded comment section. video has gared 1.3K likes and has been shared 364 times. Praising lifeguard, one Facebook user wrote, "Well done guys, a fantastic rescue and completely selfless act of cour and bravery". Ar user termed lifeguards as 'lifesavers' as he said, "You guys are LIFESAVERS... literally. As a sailing family we hope we’ll never need your services, but are so very grateful that you are out re! Huge respect".
