Authorities in Saudi Arabia have closed a restaurant in Jeddah after they found that they had been making samosas and other snacks in toilet for over 30 years.

Authorities in Saudi Arabia have shut down a restaurant in Jeddah after y found that y h been preparing samosas and or snacks in washrooms for more than 30 years.
Jeddah municipality, following a tip-off, raided restaurant situated in a residential building which h been functioning for over 30 years. officials found that workers in restaurant h no health cards and h been violating residency laws. authorities discovered that restaurant cooked snacks and also meals in washrooms, Gulf News reported citing Okaz newspaper. officials found that restaurant h been using meat, chicken and cheese, some of which h expired more than two years ago.

Insects & rodents spotted at site
officials even discovered that many insects and rodents were roaming at site. According to authorities, y have shut down several illegal restaurants and have destroyed ir foodstuff as well. Notably, this is not first time that a restaurant has been closed by authorities for operating in unhygienic conditions.
A shawarma restaurant in Jeddah was sealed off by authorities after a rat was spotted on top of a skewer, Gulf News reported citing Ajel. A video of restaurant h gone viral on social media which showed rat on skewer in Al Baghdiah neighbourhood.
