Silambarasan TR, also kwn by name Simbu, has reportedly gone through a massive physique change for his role in upcoming film, Maanau. A report by Pinkvilla suggests that actor lost close to 20 kg for his role in upcoming Kollywood film. Maabau is being written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and is also expected to star Kalyani Priyarshan as female le.

Simbu working hard for Maanau

According to a report by Pinkvilla, actor STR has been working out heavily to get into shape for this film. actor reportedly lost close to 20 kg and came down from a 100 kg to 79 kg, due to demand of his role. re have been several reports about actor following a strict workout schedule and diet to get into shape while he stays in London.

According to Pinkvilla, film h previously been dropped by makers as y h a few disagreements with STR. However, after major discussions over past few months, film was brought back on track. A few months ago, re h also been various speculations about film being shelved due to ongoing COVID 19 crisis.

However, producers of Maanau cleared rumours and took to Twitter to speak about ir plans to start working on Maanau as soon as COVID situation is under control. film has been creating a lot of buzz amongst Kollywood fans and is hence, expected to do well.
