Sona recently took to Twitter to express her approval to a statement me by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Posting a video of Bhagwat speaking at an event, she was ‘happy to spre’ mess. In video, Bhagwat is heard saying, “We believe that progress and empowerment of women can’t be decided by men. However, reverse is possible.”
He n shared an anecdote, “Once Swami Vivekanand was asked by a journalist, what his mess for women was. He responded, ‘Men were t in a position to give a mess for women. y should understand situation and come out of it, and that y should be given freedom and opportunities to do so.’

“Men should t take too much pride about empowering women, let m mselves do what should be done, n everyone can benefit from it,” Bhagwat stated in video
