Sonu Nigam discharged from hospital, returns to India today

Sonu Nigam who was admitted to Norvic International Hospital after complaining of acute back pain has been discharged from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Sonu Nigam who was admitted to Norvic International Hospital after complaining of acute back pain has been discharged from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

The singer, who was in the Himalayan Nation for a musical concert at Pokhara, was admitted to the hospital in Kathmandu, following acute back pain. RP Manali, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communication from the hospital had confirmed the news saying that an MRI was done and they were awaiting reports for further treatment.

With the treatment done, Nigam has been discharged and is said to be leaving for India on Wednesday itself, the hospital informed ANI.

The Indian singer was attended by Dr Prabin Nepal and Dr Pankaj Jalan. Nigam was scheduled to leave for India on Tuesday itself but had to be rushed to the hospital following health complaint.

Meanwhile, the actor earlier this month was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai due to a severe allergic reaction to seafood. Nigam who was back on his feet in time for a concert in Odisha advised his fans to 'never ever take a chance with allergies'.

He had also taken to Instagram to share pictures of his swollen face.

Singer Sonu Nigam also made headlines when he defended music composer Anu Malik when was accused of sexual harassment by many women, including singers Sona Mohapatra and Shweta Pandit. 

After the recent Pulwama attacks too, he shared a video where he was seen taking a sly dig at the 'secular people' in India. On his official Facebook account, almost a day after he condemned the IED blast, Sonu Nigam posted a video in which he could be seen sarcastically praising those who shout anti-national slogans and speak against their own country.
