Amaran Box Office Collection Day 2: Sivakarthikeyan-Sai Pallavi Starrer Inches Closer To ₹50 Crore

Amaran is best performing Diwali release among all regional films including Bagheera, KA and Lucky Bhaskar.
Amaran registers a slight dip at box office on day 2
Amaran, helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy smashed box office records in Tamil Nu on its opening day. movie earned ₹21.25 crore net in India on day 1, as per Sacnilk. It became Sivakarthikeyan's career-best opener.

On second day of release, movie raked in ₹ 19.25 Crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. Sai Pallavi starrer has now amassed a total of ₹ 40.65 Crore in India. extended Diwali holiday and weekend will aid film's business and it is likely to breach ₹50 crore mark in coming days.
Amaran trumps all regional Diwali releases
Amaran was released alongside Lucky Bhaskar and KA in Telugu and Bagheera in Kanna. While all three films moved at a slow pace, Amaran seems to be first choice of cinema-goers on Diwali weekend. Sai Pallavi starrer was also released in Telugu, Kanna and Malayalam, but raked in most business from Tamil version.

Kiran Abbavaram starrer KA has amassed a total of ₹ 7.5 Crore in two-day atrical run. Dulquer Salmaan's Lucky Bhaskar minted ₹ 6.25 Cr on day 2, taking film's total to ₹ 13.60 Cr. Kanna movie Bagheera has been able to amass a total of ₹ 6.30 Cr, as per Sacnilk.
