The makers have finally unveiled the trailer of Ayalaan, starring Sivakarthikeyan, in a grand event in Dubai today (January 5). Co-starring Rahul Preet Singh and Sharad Kelkar, the trailer offers insight into the purpose of an alien's visit to the earth. In the film, Sharad portrays the antagonist role of a scientist.

A glimpse inside the world of Sivakarthikeyan and his alien friend

The 2-minute-19-second trailer starts with Raghu (played by Sivakarthikeyan), playing a small-town youngster, treating the animals and recalling his father's words, "I still believe in what my father said: The soil belongs to pests and insects." In the next frame, we see a spaceship coming towards the Earth, followed by a scene showcasing Sharad, as a scientist who has different opinions regarding life on Earth.

As Raghu is seen enjoying his life, an alien (who doesn't like to be called an alien) enters his life and urges Raghu to save Earth. He says, "The humans may not care for the Earth, but if we don't save the planet, it will create bigger problems." On hearing this, Raghu and Alien together set on a mission to save the planet. The trailer highlights climate change and other dangerous issues.
