Thalapathy Vijay Memes: The actor-turned-politician is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film The Greatest Of All Times. Ahead of the release of the movie, the makers stopped the first single from the film Spark. The song featured the actor in a de-aged look which has given rise to a memefest.

A new song called Spark which has been released recently from the film is facing backlash from netizens due to Thalapathy Vijay’s de-aged look. Even the song and lyrics are garnering trolls due to their dated nature. The song has been pictured between Meenakshi Chaudhary and Thalapathy Vijay. The makers used a single-shot dance portion from the song in the lyrical video.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, the composer, himself sang the song and used familiar beats. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay's looks are getting trolled too. One of the comments on the video read, “Looks more like Dolly Chaiwala". Another user echoed the sentiment and took to their X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “Anna taking heavy inspiration from Dolly Chaiwala” Another user mentioned that since it might be Vijay's last film before his pivot to politics, “It looks like this is Anna's last film, and the songs seem like garbage. I'm not sure how we're going to celebrate.” Another wrote, “De-ageing gone bad”.

The Greatest of All Time is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language science fiction action film directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. It stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Malvika Sharma, Prabhudeva and Sudeep.

The makers haven’t revealed much about the story, but the reports suggest that it is a sc-fi thriller with Vijay playing double roles of the father and the son. GOAT is all set to release in theatres on September 5, 2024.  Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in Leo which collected great numbers at box office. The Lokesh Kangaraj directorial which was released in 2023, starred Trisha Krishnan, Madonna Sebastian, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja among others.
