GOAT: Trisha, Prabhudeva, Atlee Catch First Day First Show Of Thalapathy Vijay Starrer
Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT hit the big screens on September 5 and the film's grand opening saw celebrities like Prabhudeva and Trisha Krishnan in attendance.
Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time released today, September 5, and opened to a massive fanfare. The Tamil Nadu government had earlier granted permission for special 9 am shows in cinemas statewide. Not just fans and social media the buzz for the movie is seemingly high among industry insiders as well. Several actors like Prabhudeva, Trisha and director Atlee caught early morning shows of the film.
Trisha, Sivakarthikeyan, Prabhu Deva and more catch GOAT FDFS
On Thursday, Trisha Krishnan visited a cinema hall in Chennai to watch the Thalapathy Vijay starrer. She arrived at the theatre with a smile as she entered to watch her special cameo in the movie. In a viral video, Trisha can be seen wearing a stylish white t-shirt and jeans, along with a bag slung over her shoulder. Initially, she appeared unsure about exiting the lift due to the crowd of fans and photographers outside. However, she and producer Archana Kalpathi managed to enter the theatre with wide smiles, flanked by security. Reports indicate that Trisha attended the film's first show in Chennai on its opening day.
Moreover, director Venkat Prabhu and actor Prabhudeva also watched the movie at a Chennai cinema. Sivakarthikeyan also enjoyed the GOAT first-day-first-show with fans at a popular theatre in Coimbatore, which was the only cinema in Tamil Nadu to host a 7 AM screening for Vijay's film.
Ajith Kumar, Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj share best wishes for GOAT team
Actors Ajith Kumar, directors Atlee, and Lokesh Kanagaraj, and others have shared their best wishes on social media for actor Vijay, director Venkat Prabhu, and the team GOAT of its successful release. Venkat Prabhu mentioned on social media that Ajith Kumar was among the first to wish him success in the film. He shared, “Thank q #Thala #AK my anna for the first wish for @actorvijay na, me and team #GOAT we all love u.”
Atlee, who previously collaborated with Vijay on Mersal and Theri also extended his congratulations, posting, “Congratulations for the Blockbuster Goat From your boys @actorvijay Anna.” Lokesh Kanagaraj, director of Leo and Master, appeared in a photo with Atlee, and added his own message: “Wishing you the absolute best for #TheGOAT @actorvijay na. Best wishes to @vp_offl, @Ags_production, @archanakalpathi and the entire cast and crew for the film’s success. From your boys @Dir_Lokesh & @Atlee_dir.”
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander also posted his best wishes by quoting, “Best wishes dearest @actorvijay sir @vp_offl @archanakalpathi @thisisysr and the whole team for a blockbuster.”
According to Sacnilk, as of now, The Greatest of All Time estimatedly earned around ₹31.47 Cr India net on its first day for all languages.
