GOAT Box Office: Thalapathy Vijay's penultimate film has turned out to be a box office winner. The film is riding high on a good word of mouth and the fact that the actor's acting career is all set to wrap up, fans are lining up outside the theatres to catch him on the big screens. In its second weekend, GOAT's business grew by almost 50 percent, taking its total in 11 days to well over the ₹210 crore mark in India.

GOAT box office collection breakdown and comparisons with Leo

According to Sacnilk, GOAT collected ₹14.64 crore on its 11th day. The business saw a spike from its Saturday collections of 12.7 crore and Friday business of ₹6.25 crore. The movie is doing well in Tamil in India while the numbers for Telugu and Hindi remain muted. So far, GOAT has collected ₹214.04 crore in India and ₹136.65 crore overseas, talking its total to ₹369.5 crore worldwide. The movie will look to warp up its box office run with at least ₹500 crore, which will be a win for the team and Thalapathy Vijay.

However, GOAT collections are nowhere close to Vijay's last blockbuster Leo, which collected ₹310.9 crore in its extended first week and ₹357.15 in 11 days in India only.

Vijay announces his final film with H Vinoth

Filmmaker H Vinoth will direct the 69th feature film of Tamil superstar Vijay's career, the makers announced recently. The untitled film, which is scheduled to be released in theatres in October 2025, in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, will be Vijay's last before his full-time political entry.

The actor, known for films such as Leo, Mersal, Master and Bigil, launched his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) in February and announced plans to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly polls.
