Idly Kadai: National Award Winners Dhanush. Nithya Menen To Reunite After Thiruchitrambalam

Dhanush starrer Thiruchitrambalam, which had released last year, had found great success at box-office. The film marked the first collaboration between its lead actors Dhanush and Nithya Menen. Now, the duo are once again set to reunite for Dhanush upcoming project Idly Kadai.

Dhanush and Nithya to collaborate for second time

Nithya Menen and Dhanush have confirmed their reunion in Idly Kadai. In the post, Dhanush and Nithya Menen can be seen smiling and posing for a selfie while holding tea glasses. The caption reads, "New announcement #idlikadai (sic)."

For the unversed, the duo have worked together in Thiruchitrambalam, which was directed by Mithran Jawahar. The film also featured Raashi Khanna in a prominent role. Nithya Menen won her first National Film Award for her performance in the film.

The movie is being produced by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures  and Dhanush from his banner Wunderbar Films. It will reportedly star Nithya Menen, Ashok Selvan, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran in pivotal roles. 

GV Prakash, who composed music for DD 3, i.e. Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, is reuniting with Dhanush for Idly Kadai. The music composer is reportedly done with two songs from the movie, including the shooting.
