Indian 2 OTT Release Date: Where And When To Watch Kamal Haasan Starrer Online

Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2, which released on July 12, fell flat at the box office. Helmed by S Shankar, served as a sequel to the 1996's blockbuster movie Indian. Despite being one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year, Indian 2 earned negative reviews from critics and managed to gross ₹231 crores worldwide against a budget of ₹250 crores. Now, less than a month later, the movie has made its way to OTT.

When and where to watch Indian 2?

In the sequel, Kamal Haasan reprised his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption. In the movie, he returns to India from abroad after over two decades to aid a group in dealing with corruption in the country. The movie also starred an ensemble cast, including Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Shankar, Bobby Simha and others.

Those who haven't watched the movie in theatres can now enjoy it in the comfort of their home from August 9 on Netflix. On Saturday morning, the official Instagram site of Netflix shared a poster and wrote, "Buckle up. Indian Thatha is back to take on the system again #Indian2 is coming to Netflix on 9 August." It will be available in four regional languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Indian 2 overall collection

As per the recent update, Indian 2 has earned just ₹81 crore nett at the Indian box office and has grossed ₹150 crore overseas. Combining both Indian and overseas gross, the worldwide box office collection stands at ₹231 crore. However, the film became the second-highest opening day gross for both Haasan and Shankar, behind Vikram and 2.0. Now, the makers are busy preparing for the third instalment of Indian.
