Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is celebrating his 70th birthday today. With being one of the highest-paying actors in the industry, Thug Life actors have been there for more than six decades now. On his special day, many family and his close friends wished him by writing heartwarming messages for him on social media.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal extended their warm wishes to legendary actor-politician Kamal Haasan on his 70th birthday, which was celebrated on Thursday.

In a post on X, Mohanlal wrote, “Happy Birthday, dear Kamal Haasan sir! May this year bring you even greater success and joy as you continue sharing your artistry, creativity, and dedication with the world.”

CM Vijayan, in his message on X, described Kamal Haasan as a true icon of cinema and a passionate advocate for secular and democratic values.

A true icon of cinema and a passionate advocate for secular and democratic values, Kamal has carved a unique space in our hearts through his art and public interventions. Other than friends, Kamal Haasan’s daughter also wished her father on birthday.

Salaar actress Shruti Haasan wrote a special note for her father on his birthday

Taking to her official handle X, Shruti Haasan shared a monochromatic picture of herself with her father. The photo was taken at the gym and the ace star can be seen wearing a tracksuit while Shruti wore a jacket that she teamed with a trouser. 

She wrote in her sweet birthday wish, "Happy birthday pa @ikamalhaasan..You're a rare and walking by your side is one of my favourite things to do in life to many more birthdays and watching all your magical dreams come to life.. love you so much pa." 

Kamal Haasan also treated his fans his a special release date teaser of much much-awaited film Thug Life on his birthday.
