Kanguva Box Office Collection: Suriya starrer opened at 24 crores but on second day witnessed a major decline, probably owing to criticism it received for its background score. It was expected that on first weekend, film might see a spike in collection, but stands stey on third day. Apart from Suriya, movie also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.

On first Saturday, action thriller drama earned approximately ₹9.50 core at domestic box office, early estimates reported by Sacnilk. ding three-day collection, total stands at ₹42.75 crore. Seeing trend, it seems movie will be able to enter ₹50 crore in opening weekend.

On Saturday, Kanguva h an overall Tamil occupancy of 21.62 per cent, with maximum reported in Chennai (37 per cent).

On Saturday, makers of Kanguva shared that in two days, movie h racked ₹89.32 crores. Seeing trend, by end of third day, collection must have reached ₹100 crores. Kanguva producers dress technical mess over loud BGM
KE Gnanavel Raja told press that film’s sound will be reduced by "2 points" starting today. He said, “We have spoken to everyone and asked m to reduce volume by 2 points. film is set a thousand years back, and most episodes have massive action sequences. So, I asked exhibitors to reduce sound by 2 points, considering feedback.”
He also dressed criticism that Devi Sri Pras did not give film good music, claiming, “No one has criticised film’s songs or even RR (re-recording), only feedback was that volume was high. So DSP is not to be blamed for that. sound issues will be rectified by night show.”
