Kanguva: CBFC Instructs Makers To 'Modify Deep Cleavage Exposures' In Disha-Suriya Song | REPORT

Kanguva Disha Patani Song: The second single from the Suriya headlined movie titled YOLO released in the wee hours of October 21. The movie will hit the big screens on November 14 and marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani and Bobby Deol. While the new song from the film has become an instant hit among fans, the makers had to modify it before the premiere.
CBFC instructed Kanguva makers to modify the YOLO song before release
The party anthem from Kanguva - YOLO premiered on October 21. However, the song reportedly went through some modifications before its release. Before clearing the song for the premiere, The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) instructed the makers to modify some parts of the Disha Patani song.

As per reports, CBFC asked the Kanguva makers to “Modify the visuals of deep cleavage exposures, wherever shown in the song. Also, remove/replace the visual of body exposure.” in the YOLO song featuring Disha Patani and Suriya. A total of 3 seconds of the song was modified/trimmed by the makers. A screenshot of the censor board certificate is now viral on social media.
Suriya starrer 'Kanguva to breach ₹2000 crore mark at the box office', claims producer
In an interview with Galatta, KE Gnanavel Raja was asked about the ₹1000 crore club of Indian cinema and if Kanguva will be able to gross the amount globally. To this, the producer replied that he was expecting ₹2000 crore at the box office and asked the audience not to underestimate the collection of movies. "I am expecting ₹2000 crore box office collection, and why are you underestimating it with ₹1000 crore mark," he said.

The movie is directed by Siva and stars Suriya and Bobby Deol in the lead roles. It also stars Disha Patani , Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam and Yogi Babu in the supporting roles. Kanguva is an epic saga where ancient valour meets modern-day courage, revolving around a tribal warrior's struggle to save his people a millennium ago and its mysterious link to a shadow cop's quest in the present. It is slated to release on November 14.
