Kanguva Director Siva Confident In Suriya Starrer, Reveals He Is Planning More 'Big-Budget' Films

wait is finally over for Suriya fans as much-awaited film Kanguva, which released today (November 14) in atres. film starring Suriya is set in two timelines, with each character set in past and in present. Filmmaker Siruthai Siva who is known for his masala films has reportedly revealed his future plans in film industry.

In a recent interview, Siruthai Siva revealed that, “He has plans to make a few or big-scale projects in near future . I have five to sic scripts like Kanguva, which are out-of--box concepts. y belong to different genres and have interesting backdrops. God-willing, I will do m.” It remains to be seen how much of a storm film creates at box office, especially with Amaran running in cinema halls and receiving love from audiences.

When Suriya responded to claim of Kanguva collecting ₹2000 crores

Suriya and Kanguva team attended a promotional event in Hyderab. During event, a media person asked Suriya to comment on producer’s statement about a potential ₹2000 crore collection. Suriya responded, “What’s wrong with dreaming big? I believe in manifestation, I believe in universe. Let it happen. Let everyone be happy.” Currently, as per report, 2.0 holds record as highest-grossing Tamil film, with earnings of over ₹700 crores. Time will tell if Kanguva can surpass this and become top-grossing Kollywood film. 

Helmed by Siva and produced by Studio Green, film features scenes set 1,500 years in past and stars Suriya facing off against Bobby Deol. cast includes  Disha Patani  , Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Ananda. With an estimated budget of over ₹350 crore, Kanguva has been filmed in seven countries and various parts of India.
