Recently, film producer’s wife Neha me remarks on actress Disha Patani which has not gone down well with netizens. Now, maker’s wife has deleted post amid increasing backlash.

Since release, Disha Patani's limited screen time as Angela has drawn considerable criticism. Kanguva’s producer K E Gnanavel Raja’s wife Neha Gnanavel gave her opinion on film recently. She said that Disha Patani’s role as Angela was to only look pretty. Neha took to X(formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Because Angela’s characters is not whole movie Kanguva is about!!! Angela can’t be in 2.5 hours of film !!! Basic, so yes, she was re to look pretty!!! It’s one brain and perspective (director) presenting to crores of audiences! We Welcome criticism not targeted propaganda!!”. Her remark me some noise on social media due to its candid tone.

One user wrote, “Damn, entire Kanguva team is not able to take failure and is in breakdown it seems”. Anor user wrote, “Someone say her to stop man, she is doing more damage to film than any of critics and audience did”. With growing hate, producer's wife has now taken down her comment by deleting it from social media.

Suriya's wife Jyotika also came forward to defend film’s failure

She isn't first one to defend Kanguva and attack reviewers. Suriya's wife, Jyothika, also defended film and blamed media for creating unnecessary negativity.

On Sunday, November 17, she took to her Instagram handle and penned a long note calling Kanguva a "spectacle in cinema" and expressed that she is "proud" of her husband for dream to take cinema forward. She also defended movie by saying "Flaws are a part of most Indian films." epic saga earned only ₹50 crores net in its opening weekend.
