Nayanthara, Dhanush War Over Her Netflix Wedding Documentary, Jawan Star Questions His Character

Nayanthara has shared a three-page letter on her social media handle blasting veteran actor Dhanush for not allowing her to use BTS shots of her movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan for her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond Fairytale. In letter, Nayanthara revealed that actor has served her with a legal notice claiming ₹10 crore for using footage.

Nayanthara called herself a "self me woman with no links in industry" and said that Dhanush "a well-established actor" who h support of his family needs to re and understand this (letter).

Ly Superstar took her Instagram handle and shared a three-page letter slamming Dhanush for “deliberately” not responding to her requests, causing delay in release of her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond Fairytale. Her letter reveals that Dhanush refused a NOC to use footage from ir 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.

She also accused Dhanush of harbouring a "personal grudge" against her and her husband Vignesh Shivan. "It is understandable if it is business compulsions and monetary issues that mandate your denial; but it hurts that this decision of yours is only to vent out your personal grudge against us and that you have deliberately remained indecisive this long," she continued.
 

Nayanthara expresses shock on receiving ₹10 crore legal notice by Dhanush for 3 second footage

On second page of her letter, Nayanthara mentioned that she was shocked to receive a legal notice. She explained that after being denied usage of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan footage, she used BTS shot filmed on ir personal device which is also "very much publicly present on social media".

letter furr res, “We were startled to re those lines wherein you questioned usage of some videos (just 3 seconds) which were shot in our personal devices and that too BTS visuals that are alrey very much publicly present on social media and claimed a sum of Rs 10 crores as damages for mere 3 seconds. This is an all-time low from you and speaks so much about your character. I wish you were half person you portray to be on stage in audio launches in front of your innocent fans but clearly you do not practice what you preach. at least not for me and my partner.”

She concluded her letter by writing, "You may fabricate some fake story and pack it with punch lines and deliver it in your next audio launch too but god is watching. I wish to introduce a German word into your vocabulary ‘schenfreude’ and ensure that you don’t taste that emotion with us or anyone anymore."
