Nayanthara's Husband Vignesh Shivan Shades Her Ex Prabhudeva In GOAT Appreciation Post

Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time hit the screens on September 5 and has emerged as a box office success. It has done business of well over ₹215 crore in India in the second weekend, with eyes now set on the ₹250 crore mark in the third week. While praise continues to pour in from all quarters for the team of GOAT, celebrities too have been raving about it on social media. However, Nayanthara's husband's post on X grabbed eyeballs.

What did Vignesh Sivan write about GOAT on social media?

While Vignesh praised the team of GOAT on social media for the commercial and critical success coming their way, he did not make mention of Prabhudeva. It is interesting to note that Vignesh's wife Nayanthara was reportedly in a relationship with Prabhudeva. They were said to be even living together and things reached a stage where they were all set to get married. However, Nayanthara and the Wanted director broke up suddenly and went their separate ways.

Vignesh Sivan's post for GOAT team in which he skipped Prabhudeva's mention goes on to highlight that not all is well between the two. Sivan was also upfront about making a statement with his post and netizens were quick to notice it.

Throwback to Nayanthara and Prabhudeva's love story

Prabhu Deva reportedly fell in love with actress Nayanthara while still married to Latha. Rumours were rife that Prabhudeva and the Jawan actress were all set to get married in June 2009, but due to some circumstances they couldn’t make their relationship public.  In 2010, Prabhudeva officially got divorced from his first wife, leading many to believe that he might get married to Nayanthara.

Nayanthara reportedly addressed her relationship and separation with Prabhudeva had said,” I'm not sure if it's fate or what, but it simply didn't work We were probably not meant to be together."
