Nayanthara Vs Dhanush: spat between two actors came to light when recently Nayanthara penned an open letter criticising Dhanush, who produced her 2015 Tamil movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, for refusing permission to use footage from film in her upcoming Netflix documentary. Dhanush, through his team, has also sent a legal notice to Nayanthara to tune of ₹10 crore. While controversy erupted, some sided with Jawan actress and ors with Dhanush. Now Raanjhanaa actor's far, filmmaker Kasthuri Raja, has weighed in on legal matter between two stars.  

Kasturi Raja says Dhanush is focused on his work

Highlighting that Dhanush is unfazed by Nayanthara's open letter against him, Kasturi Raja said, “Work is important to us. We are moving forward. We don’t have time to answer those who chase us or talk behind our backs. Much like me, my son is focused only on his work.” When asked if it's true that Nayanthara waited two years to get a no-objection certificate from Dhanush, he replied, “I don’t want to talk about it.”

Nayanthara: Beyond Fairytale trailer invites notice from Dhanush's team

In a three-page open letter posted on her Instagram page, Jawan actress Nayanthara slammed Dhanush for sending a legal notice demanding ₹10 crore in damages after trailer of documentary, titled Nayanthara: Beyond Fairy Tale, was released online. documentary premiered on Netflix on November 18.

39-year-old actor said she was shocked after receiving a legal notice for using a three-second behind--scenes clip from 2015 movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in documentary. Nayanthara said she would be giving a “befitting” reply to Dhanush’s notice through lawful means. Nayanthara noted that film was released almost 10 years ago but Dhanush continues to act “vile while wearing a mask in front of world”.
