Raayan Box Office: Dhanush's 50th Film Becomes His Highest Grosser Worldwide In 10 Days - Details

Dhanush starrer Raayan is setting the cash registers ringing at the box office. After two weeks of its release, the film is doing well and has been received well by the audience and movie critics as well.

Raayan’s worldwide box office collection

Dhanush’s 50th film has emerged as his highest grossing movie. Directed by Dhanush himself, it has minted over ₹ 100 Cr worldwide within 10 days of its release. The film has been announced as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024.

According to report of Sacnilk, Raayan has collected ₹124 crore globally, while India nett collection is ₹78.30 crore. In week 1, Raayan had collected ₹60.1 crore. Raayan also occupied a spot in the top 10 at the US box office during the opening weekend.

Raayan falls prey to piracy

Given the popularity of the film, Raayan fell prey to piracy after its release. The film was recorded and uploaded by the notorious group Tamil Rockers member Jeb Stephen Raj from Madurai. He was later nabbed and admitted to be the admin of the website. According to reports, apart from Raayan, copies of Maharaja and Kalki 2898 AD were also found with Jeb Stephen Raj.
