Rajinikanth Hospitalised: Fans Pray For Actor's Speedy Recovery Amid Reports Of Ill Health

Rajinikanth Hospitalised: The Tamil superstar was reportedly admitted to the hospital on September 30. Sources close to the actor confirmed that he would be undergoing an elective procedure today, October 1. However, his family members are yet to confirm the news. As soon as the information surfaced online, fans of the actor took to their social media account to share speedy recovery wishes and pray for Rajinikanth's well-being.

On September 30, when the news of the actor's hospitalisation surfaced online, netizens took to their social media accounts to share their best wishes for the superstar. Fans prayed for his recovery and expressed their wish that the hospitalisation was just for a routine procedure. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) to share a photo of the actor with the caption, “Get Well Soon Thalaivaa”.
 

Another social media user assured everyone that the Coolie star has been admitted for an elective procedure only and that there is no need to panic. They wrote, “DON'T Panic guys!! It's already planned checkup only. Superstar #Rajinikanth is said to be admitted to Apollo Hospitals under interventional cardiologist for an elective procedure !! His health  condition is stable. The procedure will be done in the cath lab on Tuesday.” Another shared a candid picture of the 73-year-old actor and wrote, “Get Well Soon Thalaivaaaaa Come back fast”. As per reports, the actor complained of stomach aches which prompted visit to the hospital.

Rajinikanth hospitalised for severe stomach pain?

As per ANI, Rajinikanth, 73, was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai late on Monday night. He was taken to the hospital after experiencing severe stomach pain, according to Chennai Police. Hospital sources have confirmed that Rajinikanth's condition is stable. For the unversed, the actor had undergone a similar procedure at the same hospital in December last year.

The news of Rajinikanth's hospitalisation comes as a major setback for fans as the actor was scheduled to attend the trailer launch of his movie Vettaiyan on October 2. The film, directed by TJ Gnanvel, is scheduled to release on October 10. He plays the cop role in the actioner and will have confrontation scenes with Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan . Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier round up the pan-India cast of Vettaiyan.
