Suriya 45: Suriya, Trisha Krishnan To Reunite After 18 Years In R Balaji's Directorial?

Trisha and Suriya will reportedly reunite for a film which is tentatively titled Suriya 45 after 18 years. They last starred together in the 2005 film Aaru.

Trisha Krishnan is one of the popular actresses who works predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films. She gained recognition after winning the 1999 Miss Chennai pageant, which basically marked her entry into film industry. With several projects lined up, she will reportedly be reuniting with Suriya for a film.

Suriya to collaborate again with Trisha?

According to reports, Trisha will be playing the female lead in Suriya’s 45th film which will be helmed by actor turned director RJ Balaji. The music will be composed by music maestro AR Rahman. Rumuors are rife that Trisha is adjusting her dates only to share screen space with Suriya in a film. The pre-production of the film is reportedly in full swing and and the shooting is expected to begin soon.

However, the release date for Suriya 45 is yet to be announced, but the anticipation is already high among fans and the film industry. For the unversed, Suriya and Trisha have worked together in films including Mount Pesiyathe, Aayatha Ezuthu and Aaru. This news of reunion has definitely has created a buzz amongst the fans.

There are reports of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan all-time classic 96 sequel in works. The film has received acclaim from critics, for the script, direction, music, cinematography as well as the performance of the lead stars. During a recent interview with Cine Ulgam, director Prem Kumar revealed his plans to make a sequel to 96. He also said that the film will go on floors once Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan’s dates are finalised. He expressed his happiness and enthusiasm by saying that Vijay’s wife loves the story.
