Suriya Expresses Grief Over Editor Nishadh's Death, Calls Him 'Important Person' Of Kanguva Team

Suriya took to his social media account to express grief on passing away of Kanguva film editor Nishh Yusuf. 43-year-old was found de in an apartment here in early hours of Wednesday, as per PTI. He was found at around 2 am in an apartment in Panampilly Nagar.

Suriya pens a heartfelt note for Nishh Yusuf

On October 30, hours after Nishh Yusuf's passing Suriya took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to pen a note of condolence. Kanguva actor called Yusuf a ‘quiet and important’ part of film. tragedy has happened two weeks before release of movie.

Suriya took to his social media account to write, “Heartbroken to hear Nishh is no more! You’ll always be remembered as a quiet and important person of team Kanguva.. In our thoughts and prayers..! My heartfelt condolences to Nishh’s family & friends. RIP” He shared note with a photo of Yusuf.

Earlier Studio Green, production house of Suriya starrer also shared ir tribute on social media. ir official statement re, “We are deeply shocked and sdened by sudden passing of our beloved editor, #NishYusuf 💔 Your talent, dedication and vision were invaluable assets to our team and your absence leaves us with a profound void. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this difficult time.”

Noted film editor Nishh Yusuf was found de in an apartment here in early hours of Wednesday. A police officer said that incident is suspected to be a case of suicide. He, however, did not provide furr details. A Kerala State Film Award winner for Best Editor in 2022, Yusuf’s notable works include Thallumaala, Chaaver, Unda, Saudi Vellakka, One, Operation Java, Bazooka, and Kanguva. He won Best Editor State Award for his work on Thallumaala.
