Udhayanidhi Stalin Reacts To Rajinikanth Dodging Query On His Rumoured Elevation To Deputy CM Post

Viral : Superstar Rajinikanth on Friday declined to comment on an expectation in ruling DMK that Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin will soon be elevated as Deputy Chief Minister. Later in day, Stalin deprecated disturbing top actor with a question on matter while he was on his way to work. He also took potshots at how entire matter was depicted in media.

Rajinikanth avoids political question

Rajinikanth arrived in Chennai for audio launch of Vettaiyan, his upcoming film also starring Amitabh Bachchan , Fahh Faasil and Rana Daggubati among ors. At airport, Jailer star was questioned by media about Udhayanidhi Stalin's rumoured elevation to post of Deputy CM of Tamil Nu.

He replied saying, he didn’t want to discuss politics. He said, "How many times have I told you t to ask me political questions," and quickly walked away. When asked about participants in Vettaiyan audio launch, he replied that he does t kw about who would be present.

Stalin, dressing an event in Chennai, later said some (media outlets) h posted a thumbnail/heing on YouTube as though actor was incensed by prospect of him becoming deputy chief minister.

Though Rajinikanth me it amply clear that he was t inclined to answer questions related to politics, “what is heing y have given? what an impression it will give (to reers)?, Udhayanidhi, also DMK youth wing secretary asked. He said he was himself taken aback. ”I got scared. Still, re is anuncement me regarding elevation, full rights are with Chief Minister only," he said.

minister also said that Rajinikanth was at airport to take a flight and wondered if it was necessary to bor him with such a question. He said he was t sure about thumbnail to be posted by media for points he has w me on matter. "It could be like this...Udhayanidhi hits back at Superstar Rajinikanth, I am giving you a cue."

Furrmore, he said, "I am t Deputy CM yet. re is anuncement yet. It is prerogative of Chief Minister." On chances of elevation, journalists have asked Chief Minister M K Stalin and y also posed same question to him and this was alright. But practice of asking questions related to this matter from almost everyone was t appropriate, he said.
