Anand, a close confidant of Tamil actor Vijay, complained of uneasiness, reportedly due to his relentless efforts surrounding the release of the film Leo and the subsequent success meet held in Chennai. However, his condition is reportedly stable as of now.

Why is Bussy Anand hospitalised?

Bussy Anand, responsible for overseeing VMI's operations and various aspects of Vijay's career, was rushed to Global Hospital following complaints of uneasiness. It is believed that his exhaustion was a result of the continuous work and the grand success meet for the film Leo, which took place in Chennai recently. Despite the late hour of his admission, Vijay visited the hospital to inquire about his condition.

VMI's transformation into a political party

Bussy Anand has been a pivotal figure in the transformation of Vijay's fan club, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (VMI), into a political party. In 2021, VMI achieved a remarkable victory by winning 115 out of 169 seats in the panchayat elections, marking a significant milestone for a party contesting for the first time.

At the success launch of Leo, Vijay chose to address the long-standing debate about the next superstar of Tamil cinema. He declared, "There's only one superstar in Tamil cinema," alluding to the legendary Rajinikanth. Nonetheless, Vijay has solidified his identity as "Thalapathy."
