Anupamaa Update: The daily soap starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna has been one of the most loved ones since it aired in 2020. While Rupali leads the charge in the titular role, actor Gaurav also holds a pivotal role in the serial, essaying the role of Anuj Kapadia. Recently, reports have been doing the rounds that the duo are planning to quit the show. But what's the truth?

According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source close to the show has revealed that Rupali and Gaurav are the main faces of the show and there is no truth to the rumours that they are leaving it.

The source further revealed that currently there are no plans of any time leap as well. This is not the first time the actors in the show have planned on leaving it after finding popularity or in search for better opportunities. Recently, Aashish Mehrotra, who has been playing Rupali's on-screen son Toshu, quit the show.

Aashish Mehrotra quit Anupamaa to be part of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14. He recently got eliminated after losing a stunt to Sumona Chakravarti and Shalin Bhanot.
