Bigg Boss 18: From Nia Sharma To Dheeraj Dhoopar, A Look At Tentative Contestant List

Bigg Boss 18 is all set to commence in the first week of October 2024. On Sunday, the makers released a teaser, announcing the date and time of the show. In the latest development, we have got hands on a tentative list of contestants who will be entering the controversial house, and on top of the list is Naagin actress Nia Sharma.

According to Bigg Boss Tak, an X page, eleven contestants have been finalised who will be entering the house on October 6. They are Nia Sharma, Shoaib Ibrahim, Nyrraa Banerji, Meera Deosthale, Sayli Salunkhe, Avinash Mishra, Debchandrima Singha Roy, Chaahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar and Shanti Priya. For those who don't know, Shilpa and Shanti are yesteryear actresses, who have appeared in several movies of the 90s.

It is being reported that Dheeraj Dhoopar is planning to opt out of the show probably the makers didn't agree with his demands.

Isha Koppikar was also approached by the makers and she had reportedly agreed to participate, but now she changed her mind and backed out from the show.

Celebs who are still in talks for Bigg Boss 18

Apart from the above-mentioned contestants, makers are currently pursuing and negotiating terms with the following contestants for Bigg Boss 18 - Rithvik Dhanjani, Shehzada Dhami, Karan Veer Mehra, Zaan Khan and Karam Rajpal.

Bigg Boss 18's theme is Time ka Tandav and will go on air on October 6 at 9 PM on Colors TV.

Who was the Bigg Boss 17 winner?

Comedian-singer Munawar Faruqui won the previous season of the reality-based show, which aired on Colors TV and JioCinema. The grand finale was broadcast on January 28, 2024, and Munawar beat Ankita Lokhande and Arun Srikanth Mashettety to take home the trophy, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, and a Hyundai Creta.
