Bigg Boss: Security upped at Salman Khan's residence after protests

With Bigg Boss 13 getting into a row for promoting 'vulgar' content, security was beefed at Salman Khan's residence after Karni Sena workers protested.

Salman Khan has been controversy’s favourite child for decades and t just his personal life, his professional ventures too becomes a part of headlines for decades w. latest in this is his TV show Bigg Boss that has landed in trouble for being accused of promoting 'vulgarity' , by outfits and politicians. members of one of m, Rajput Karni Sena reportedly landed at Dabangg star’s apartment. workers were detained by police and security has been beefed up at actor’s residence.

Protests at Salman Khan’s house 

22 workers of Rajput Karni Sena were detained after y protested outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai on Friday. Since n, security has been increased at venue, and a team of over 30 personnel has been deployed for same. Deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Zone IX, Paramjit Singh Dahiya confirmed news, as per reports.

This is t first time that Karni Sena protests have led to police intervention. Even during release of Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone had got extra protection and also Kangana Ranaut’s security was increased when Manikarnika was up for release because of oppostion of fringe outfit.

t only outfit protesting 

As far as Bigg Boss is concerned, re have been opposition from multiple sides over show.  Karni Sena protested against Indian culture being ‘ruined.’  Ar outfit Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad too expressed same concern. Brahmin Mahasabha also opposed it. President of  Uttar Pradesh Nav Nirman Sena, claimed that he won’t eat food till show goes off air. 

 Confederation of All India Traders has written to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar accusing show of ‘tarnishing’ country’s traditional and cultural values. BJP MLA from Ghaziabad, Nand Kishor Gurjar wrote to Minister Javadekar demanding show be banned for promoting ‘vulgarity’.

One of reasons for outr is a new concept ‘Bed Friend Forever’ wherein a male and female contestant have been seen sharing a bed. Even communities that contestants belong came into picture in allegations made in this and that show had resulted in ‘Love Jihad’. A task where contestants share objects through ir mouths too attracted attention.
