Dance Plus 5: All you need to know about the judges and mentors

Dance Plus is a well-known dance reality show that is currently airing on Star Plus. The ongoing season of Dance Plus is the fifth one that has auditions for the show taking place all over India. Dance Plus 5 has a huge fan base in the country. The first season of Dance Plus aired in 2015. Raghav Juyal has been hosting the show since the very first season. The super judge of the reality show is Remo D’Souza. While the other mentors on the show are Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Suresh Mukund, and Karishma Chavan. Here is a short brief about the judges on the show.

Remo D’Souza  

Remo D’Souza is a dancer, actor, choreographer and film director. Remo made his directorial debut with the 2011 film F.A.L.T.U, which was a hit. His next two releases ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, ABCD 2 were a huge blockbuster hit. But his superhero film A Flying Jatt, featuring Tiger Shroff, and Salman Khan-starrer Race 3 both failed to strike a chord with the audience, despite having top stars. He also judges many reality tv shows where he is currently judging Dance Plus season 5.

Dharmesh Yelande

Dharmesh started his career as a contestant on Dance India Dance, Dance India Dance Li’l Masters, and Dance Ke Superstars. He was then hired as a choreographer in Farah Khan’s film Tees Maar Khan. He further went on working in the 3D dance-based Indian film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance and its sequel ABCD 2. He owns his dance academy and has been a mentor in all the five seasons of the dance reality show Dance Plus.

Karishma Chavan

Karishma Chavan is a choreographer and has worked in many South Indian films. The actor made her Bollywood debut as a choreographer in the film Tumhari Sulu. Karishma Chavan is a mentor on the Dance Plus season 5.

Punit Phatak

Punit Phatak is a choreographer and an actor. He began his career as a contestant in Dance India Dance. He has choreographed many films for their dance number and is at the peak of his career. Earlier this year, Punit participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi where he won the first place. He also made his debut in Bollywood with the film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. He is currently a mentor on Dance Plus 5.

Suresh Mukund

Suresh Mukund is a choreographer and has choreographed many films. The actor is currently a mentor on the show along with the other three mentors.
