This year, we saw the end to the Infinity Saga as the MCU completed 11 years of storytelling over three phases. The 23-movie saga ended with this year’s super hit film Spider-Man: Far From Home. But before closing the infinity saga with Spider-Man, we saw Avengers: Endgame where all the MCU heroes fought the big baddie from Titan, Thanos. It is reported that Disney is pushing Avengers: Endgame for 14 award nominations at the 92nd Oscars.
Similarly, Disney had also pushed Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War last year. By doing so, Black Panther won three Oscar awards. The awards Black Panther won are Best Original Score, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design. Infinity War was also nominated for Best Visual Effects. Disney is doing heavy marketing to get the eye of the jury and as the votes for nominations open on January 2, 2020. The final list of nominees will be out on January 13, 2020, and the award show is on February 4, 2020. Here is the list that Disney is pushing for nominations.
