Anime is often mistaken as a genre in itself, but in fact, has become increasingly popular bu churning out TV shows in several genres. While a common belief is that anime is fascinating only to kids, there are several shows now, especially on OTT platforms that cater to masses - adults and kids alike. Right from BoJack Horseman to Rick and Morty, numerous anime series are winning hearts everywhere, even Japanese adaptations of the Manga comics. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Kimetsu

The plot revolves around Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko, who are the sole survivors by a demon’s attack. Nezuko has now become a demon, but still shocking shows signs of human thought and emotion. Then, Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer to help his sister turn back human again and to prevent the incident from happening again.

Doctor Stone

The story follows a student Taiju Oki who tries to confess his love for his classmate Yuzuriha Ogawa. But before he can do that, they get stuck in a different dimension. Taiju and his science-loving friend Senku Ishigami are somehow revived. It then shows how they try to bring back everything back to normal.

Mob Psycho 100 II

It carries the torch of its predecessor’s line as one of the most kinetic, hilarious and aesthetically anime to air in recent times. With most, if not all, of the original staff from the first season returning for this outing, including animator Miya Sato, whose masterful "oil on glass" animation has distinguished so many of the previous season's stand-out sequences. Aside from its adventurous animation, impressive action sequences and sharp comedic timing, Mob Psycho 100 II is a touching coming-of-age story of the relationship between a mentor and his pupil, and how the two help each to grow into more mature, earnest, and better-adjusted individuals.

My Hero Academia

The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers named called Quirks. This story is set in a world where the boy is normal, but who still dreams of becoming a hero himself. He is scouted by Japan's greatest hero, who shares his quirk with Izuku after recognizing his potential, and later helps to enrol him in a prestigious high school for heroes in training.

One piece

The story follows the adventures of a boy, Monkey D. Luffy, whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line. To become the next Pirate King, he searches for "One Piece" which is the world's ultimate treasure.
