Friends throwback: Jennifer Aniston made Reese Witherspoon nervous?

Reese Witherspoon recently stated that she felt ‘uneasy’ on the sets of Friends, however, adding that Jennifer Aniston made her feel ‘right at home’. Actors Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston have been friends for over 20 years now. Witherspoon played the character of Jill Green, Rachel Green’s youngest sister on the show. Rachel Green, one of the most popular characters from the 90s sitcom Friends, was played by Aniston.
Witherspoon who could not help but gush while talking about Aniston stated ‘‘She was so sweet to me. I was really nervous, and she was like, 'Oh, my gosh -- don't worry about it,'’
Witherspoon takes a trip down memory lane
Witherspoon and Aniston have a friendship that goes way back to the 90s. The two stars were pals long before they starred alongside each other in the upcoming web series ‘The Morning Show’. Witherspoon, taking a trip down memory lane, revealed about meeting Aniston on the set of Friends stating that the encounter happened decades ago. She further added that Aniston, who was a popular public figure, made her feel extremely comfortable throughout the shoot.
"We met on the set of Friends; I played her sister. I was 23 years old and had just had a baby," Witherspoon recounted, adding how she " was nursing Ava on set, and Jen just kept going, 'You have a baby?' I was like, 'I know, it's weird'".
Witherspoon further recalled, "I remember her being like, 'Where are you going?' And I was like, 'I'm pumping!'"
The Morning Show
The two actors can be next seen in the upcoming Apple+ series The Morning Show in which they will enact the role of two journalists experiencing the fallout of a male anchor's #MeToo allegations. Aniston and Witherspoon are also serving as executive producers for the show. The Morning Show marks Aniston and Steve Carell's return to television since the wrap of their massively popular show for NBC, Friends and The Office. The Morning Show will premiere on Apple TV+ on November 1.
"I am so excited. We're having so much fun brainstorming and laughing and sending each other emails. We're having a great time," Witherspoon said.
