While many Indians will queue in lines outside polling booths, the majority will be queuing to watch the third episode of Game of Thrones where the living will fight the dead at Winterfell.

Highlighting this impending doomsday battle, Game of Thrones has shared a forewarning of character death or deaths by sharing Illustrator Robert M Ball's portrait quoting the Free folk leader Tormund: "We are all going to die, but at least we die together."

The picture depicts the fireplace scene which was played in the second episode of this season in which the characters Tyrion and Jamie Lannister along with Brienne, Podrick, Ser Davos and Tormund huddled around the fireplace at the Stark Castle, sharing  a last drink in the night before the army of the undead led by the Night King who rides the newly resurrected ice-dragon Viserion, attacks Winterfell. While the stage is set similar to the scene, the characters are missing from the picture. The empty chair ring hollow with one or the other character's death. The fireplace was converted into the forge in which Gendry made the dragon glass weapons for the living army.

Interestingly, while the characters were missing from the portrait, there were four faces' shadows cast on the floor - Brienne, Gendry, Ser Davos and Tyrion with undead hands creeping towards them, ready to grab them. Many fans fear the implications of these characters' faces being singled out from the group, but most worry for Tyrion who is a worldwide favourite.

The creator, Ball shared his inspiration with the Game of Thrones team saying:

“The key scene for me was the group around the fireplace, sharing a last drink together and preparing for their probable death. There were some narrative resolutions tied up, and space for the characters to make peace with their fate — very much the sense that this group would not make it to the end of Episode 3 intact."

He also added that while there were no deaths in the previous episode, this picture was an interpretation of the same episode laden with it (death).
