Govinda is one of the most regarded veteran actors in the Hindi film industry, with a number of memorable performances to his credit. Govinda, who is married to Sunita Ahuja and the couple share two kids. She recently revealed interesting details about her personal life in an interview.
Sunita Ahuja opens up about being offered reality shows
In the podcast Time Out With Ankit, Sunita Ahuja revealed that she had been dodging Bigg Boss offer for the longest time. She said, “I told them, ‘Do you even know who you’re talking to right now? Come to me if you want me to host the show.”

In the same conversation, Sunita also added that she asked the makers of the reality show if they of think her as someone who has been struggling financially.

In the same interview, she said that she had no idea that she would fall in love with Govinda and eventually get married to him when she was 18 years old only. Sharing more about her relationship, she said how she was asked not to wear short clothes. She said, “I went from wearing miniskirts to sarees. That’s why my husband used to hate me. I would tell him, ‘I’m from Bandra, you’re from Virar, boss’. And he’d say, ‘No, my mother won’t like it."

Further, in the interview, Sunita revealed how Govinda used to work in five shifts when his daughter was born, and couldn't be there during the same.
"When our daughter was born, he’d scheduled five shifts on that same day. My mother-in-law was there with me, and after every shift, he’d check in and ask if the baby had been born. When he was at his third shift of the day, Tina was born. I didn’t realise how big a star he was,” Sunita mentioned.
