Green Lantern was first introduced in 1941 by Martin dell and Bill Finger. He is a DC Comics character and one of seven founding members of Justice League. Recently, it was anunced that Berlanti Productions and Waner Bros are teaming up again to make a Green Lantern TV show. Greg Berlanti, who has developed projects like Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Titans, Doom Patrol, Black Lightning, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, and Stargirl, will be introducing Green Lantern to HBO Max.

It is reported that Berlanti will be adapting Strange Adventures as an inspiration for series to make Green Lantern series for HBO streamer. Berlanti also expressed that show will be biggest DC show ever made. show will be set in , and he added that he cant reveal more details right w. HBO Max streaming service will be launching in May 2020 and subscription cost to watch all shows on streaming platform will be $14.99/Month. It is speculated that show will also be launching with streaming service in May 2020.

Green Lantern was last seen on big screen in Justice League’s historical battle between Steppenwolf and forces of Earth. Steppenwolf also referred to Green Lantern in trailer of Justice League. Before this, ring slinger was seen on big screen in 2011 where Ryan Reylds played character. Though it did somewhat well at box office, movie did t satisfy its fans.
