Stree is a comedy-horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and was released on August 31, 2018. The movie starred actors Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi in the leading roles. It tells the story of a village named Chanderi, where every year during the four days of festival season, a paranormal entity that the villagers call Stree causes men in the village to disappear leaving behind only their clothes. Then the village finds an unlikely hero in the local tailor Vicky, who decides to take it upon himself to rid the village of the Stree after the disappearance of one of his friends.
A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night
A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is a Persian-language Horror film that is directed by Ana Lily Amirpour and was premiered on January 20, 2014, during that year's Sundance Film Festival. The movie tells the tale of a hardworking yet downtrodden man who meets a mysterious woman in a chador. The woman also happens to be a vampire who preys on those she meets while walking alone in the streets late at night. The movie was highly acclaimed and is often touted as the first Iranian vampire Western.

Insidious
Insidious is one of the most popular Horror movies of this decade and is also available on Hotstar. The movie was directed by James Wan and was released on September 14, 2010. It depicts the life of a family whose son has fallen into a coma after moving into a new home. The family soon moves into another house after they experience several supernatural phenomena and their son remains in a coma. They soon come to the harsh realization that their son might be possessed by an evil spirit after they consult a demonologist. The movie then depicts how the family and the demonologist struggle to try and save the boy as well as rid the house of the demonic spirits.
