Here's The First Look Of Hina Khan As Komolika In 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'

Renowned producer Ekta Kapoor unveiled the first look of Komolika from her TV show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'. Ever since the reboot of the 2001 hit show was announced, fans were super excited to know who will take up the role of the iconic villain of this Indian soap opera. Amidst all the speculations, Ekta Kapoor finally confirmed that the character will be played by Hina Khan. 

Ekta took to social media and shared the first look of Hina as Komolika in an introductory video. Sharing the video on her Instagram she wrote, "Bihar ka bewagpan aur bengal ki adaa .... welcome @realhinakhanas KOMOLIKA 💋💋💋❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💖👍🏼

Hina, who has previously played the role of the most-loved bahu in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' for about a period of eight years, for the first time will be seen in a negative role on small screen. 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' that premiered on September 25, 2018, features Erica Fernandes as Prerna Sharma and Parth Samthaan as Anurag Basu. The storyline of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' is similar to the previous instalment. In fact, the looks of the characters have also been inspired from the initial season. Hina Khan last appeared in television reality show 'Bigg Boss 11'.

Previously, actress Urvashi Dholakia used to play Komolika in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', headlined by Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan. To bid a final goodbye to her role as the character, Ekta Kapoor shared the introductory video of Urvashi from the previous show, earlier this week. She captioned the post saying, "A final bye before we bring the new ... to the vamp extraordinaire! Urvashi Dholakia that swag will be missed."
