India's Best Dancer Season 4: Steve Jyrwa From Meghalaya Declared Winner, Takes Home ₹15 lakh & Car

Steve Jyrwa from Shillong has been declared the winner of the fourth season of India's Best Dancer season 4. He also runs a dance institute in his hometown.

India's Best Dancer 4: Meghalaya -born dancer and hip-hop artist Steve Jyrwa has been declared the winner of the fourth season of the dance reality show, which saw Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapur, and Terence Lewis as judges. Steve beat his challengers Harsh Keshri, Nep, Akanksha Mishra, Nextion, and Aditya Malviya to clinch the title. He was accompanied by his choreographer Raktim Thakuria on this journey.

Steve Jyrwa shares a post after IBD season 4 win

On social media, Steve Jyrwa wrote after his win, "UNDERDOGS OF THE YEAR Wow!! what a season it has been. Still in disbelief, what I experienced that night I had only dreamt of. This is what a win feels like, the whole season flashed right in front of my eyes when they announced his name, the sleepless nights, the blood the sweat the tears, pressure, injuries oh god. We put our sanity at bay for the past 4 months just for this moment. Yes we were in it to win it, from the day we started. Me Steve lama Milind we put everything on the line and it all paid off. Fuck yes! Ladies and gentlemen we present to you Steve jrywa the winner of India’s best dancer season 4, our wonder boy our sasuke. Go conquer the world boy !! It’s only up from here (sic)."

Steve won ₹15 lakh cash prize, a trophy and a Swift car. The photos on his Insta handle showed him celebrating with the show's judges, his choreographer Raktim, and the other finalists.

Steve said, "It's a big moment for me. Everyone in my family and my state is overwhelmed. I did it for my grandmother, who was very happy about my win. There were no downs for me in the show. I worked twice as hard to keep my level up. My footwork will certainly be memorable for the audience. Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao seemed very impressed by my dance moves. And I am happy with their response.
