Newlyweds Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre, best known for their roles in Ghar Ek Mandir, celebrated their first New Year after marriage. The couple took to social media and shared glimpses of their cosy celebration.

Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre rang in the New Year along with their close friends. The actress shared several glimpses from the intimate bash. One of the photos featured the couple posing with their friends. In the other image, Shrenu is seen hugging her husband. While the actress donned a red full-sleeve dress, Akshay wore a blue shirt teamed with beige pants. Sharing the photos, the actress wrote, "Yaar shaadi ke baad bhi itni photos, Happy New Year from us to you."

Shrenu Parikh, Akshay Mhatre's fairytale wedding

Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre took to social media and shared glimpses from their fairytale wedding. In one of the videos, the actress is seen walking down the aisle on Dilbaro. In another video, the couple is seen exchanging garlands. The couple's family members and friends were seen cheering loudly. For her wedding, Shrenu chose to wear an embellished red and orange lehenga while Akshay wore a red sherwani. Along with the photos, Shrenu wrote, “Taken forever. 21/12/23 #LoveAtFirstTake.”

For the reception, Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre wore colour-coordinated outfits. While the new bride donned a black and red coloured lehenga, the actor sported a black bandhgala teamed with matching pants. His outfit had a touch of red, complementing Shrenu's attire. Sharing the photos on Instagram, the couple wrote, "True love stories never have endings … hence ending the festivities with a star studded reception."
